Role Description: The PROTEGE role at Varia Berhad is a full-time, on-site position based in Selangor, Malaysia. The protege will support various departments, assisting with project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks related to construction and property development. Daily responsibilities may include preparing reports, gathering and analyzing data, attending meetings, and supporting team members in executing operational activities. The role also involves learning company processes, participating in training programs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is designed to provide structured exposure to the industry, mentorship, and professional development within the Group.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
• Basic understanding or interest in construction, property development, or related fields, including project coordination and site operations.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and the ability to manage data and documentation effectively.
• Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a proactive learning attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field).
• Willingness to work on-site in Selangor and occasionally visit project locations as required.
