Job Description – SAP WM Consultant

Role: SAP WM Consultant

Location: Penang, Malaysia (Work from Office – Daily)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract) & Renewal

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Materials Management (MM), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, along with hands-on configuration and integration experience across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP WM solutions in S/4HANA environments.
• Configure and support inbound and outbound warehouse processes, including:
• Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Transfer Posting (TP), Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
• Picking, Packing, Shipping, Delivery Processing
• Handling Units (HU), Container Packing & Unpacking
• Configure warehouse master data including storage bins, batch management, classifications, and characteristics.
• Support barcode scanning and SAP mobility solutions.
• Configure and support Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Materials Management (MM) processes.
• Work on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, RFQs, and Invoice Management.
• Develop Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements.
• Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support IDocs, batch jobs, middleware integrations (XI, RFC, CIF), and third-party system integrations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, perform gap analysis, and provide business solutions.
• Provide end-user training, post-go-live support, issue resolution, and status reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–15 years of SAP consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM).
• Mandatory: Minimum one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA WM implementation.
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP WM implementations.
• Strong experience with:
• Inventory Management (GR, GI, STO, Transfer Posting)
• Shipping, Distribution, Picking, Packing, Delivery Documents
• Batch Management & Serialized Materials
• Physical Inventory, Cycle Count, Blind Count
• Handling Unit (HU) Management
• Storage Bin Management
• Cross Docking
• Stock Transfers (Material, Plant, Storage Location, Bin)
• Label Printing & Output Management
• Experience with SAP MM, Logistics Execution (LE), and P2P processes.
• Strong integration knowledge with SD, FI/CO, PP, and LE modules.
• Experience with IDocs, Batch Jobs, Middleware (XI/CIF/RFC), and SAP Mobility.
• Expertise in SAP master data, organizational structures, pricing, account determination, output determination, and batch management.
• Experience creating Functional Specifications and supporting custom developments.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools, issue tracking, and change management.

• Experience working in Agile and global delivery environments.
