Job Summary
The HRBP delivers value-added services to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, maintaining effective business literacy related to HR functions. The HRBP acts as a people champion, strategic partner, change agent, and administrative expert. Collaborating with line managers, the HRBP sets priorities, drives values, and delivers business results.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Support Head of HRBP in executing requirements by Dept/Divisions in terms of meeting business strategies/objectives and Provide solution/recommendation to Dept/Divisions
- Serves as key interface between HR and Dept/Divisions to implement key HR strategies and initiatives
- Update critical positions and talent pool data as and when required.
- Discuss with Dept/Divisions on critical position successors and development intervention
- Maintain the redeployment list and match the staff from the list to available vacant positions within the Group
- Perform HR data analytics, prepare HR dashboard to Dept/Divisions on demographics and highlight any HR related matters
Rewards and Performance
- Assist employees in overall performance management process during the annual review and day-to-day performance management guidance to Dept/Divisions
- Monitor employees who are under performance enhancement ("PEP) and performance improvement plan ("PIP"). Follow up with Dept/Divisions on submission of their quarterly performance
Workforce Planning
- Manage and monitor headcounts of Dept/Divisions and manage it within the approved manpower
- Collaborate with recruitment team to identify resources internally or externally and support interview
- Conduct exit interviews to keep track on reason of leaving for better retention strategies and reduce turnover
Employee Relations and People Management
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by partnering with the IRUM Department if needed/required
- Have consistent consultations with line management to provide HR guidance when appropriate
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Produce internal HRBP communication to Dept/Divisions and involved in employee engagement.
Operations
- Advise employees and provide HR policy, SOP, guidance and interpretation
- Keep Dept/Divisions updated on HR initiatives and support them by partnering with HR COEs in executing/implementing HR related programs
- Execute process of staff movement/relocation and mediate any issues that may arise from the whole movement/relocation process
- Verify overtime claim submissions from Dept/Divisions
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Engineering Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Preferable 5 years relevant working experience
- Good knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines/functions and good stakeholders' management skills.
- High analytical, problem-solving skills and able to work independently
- Cross culture experience and positive working attitude
