Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Consultant will support Biocon Malaysia in planning, coordinating, and delivering IT infrastructure projects. This includes managing activities related to network setup, security systems, and connectivity for office and production areas, including cleanroom environments. The role focuses on project execution, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely delivery within compliance standards.



Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan and manage IT infrastructure projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for smooth execution.
  • Track project costs and ensure budget compliance.

Scope of Work

  • Oversee installation of network systems, wireless connectivity, and security solutions such as access control and surveillance.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support documentation and reporting for project approvals and audits.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact for vendors and contractors
  • Organize meetings, resolve issues, and ensure quality deliverables
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders regularly

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure projects follow safety, security, and compliance guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and approvals obtained


Additional Key Point

  • sIT/OT Integration: Ability to coordinate and align IT systems with operational technology used in production environments.
  • Cleanroom Standards: Understanding or experience with cleanroom environment requirements and regulations is an added advantage.
  • Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with industry standards and compliance in regulated environments is highly desirable.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing IT or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and timelines effectively.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in project coordination within manufacturing or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., safety and quality requirements).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
