About the Role

We are looking for a Japanese Speaker to join our Content Moderation team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will help create a safer online environment by reviewing and moderating user-generated content to ensure it complies with platform policies and community standards. You will make fair, accurate, and timely moderation decisions while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, videos, and other media.
• Assess content in accordance with company policies and community guidelines.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate high-risk or sensitive content when required.
• Make accurate moderation decisions while meeting quality, accuracy, and productivity targets.
• Handle confidential and sensitive content with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent policy enforcement.
• Stay up to date with policy changes and participate in ongoing training to maintain moderation quality.

Requirements

• Malaysian with JLPT N2 certification (or higher), or a Native Japanese Speaker currently residing in Malaysia.
• Minimum B2 level English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Minimum Diploma level or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Content Moderation is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling potentially sensitive content professionally.
• Willing to work rotational shifts and be based fully onsite in Kuala Lumpur.

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
