Job Position: Medical Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional Medical Assistant (MA) to provide quality patient care and support the daily clinical operations of the clinic. The successful candidate will assist doctors during consultations and medical procedures, perform clinical and nursing duties, ensure patient safety, and maintain efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities;
- Perform patient triage, assess patients' conditions, and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
- Prepare patients for consultations, examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and medical procedures.
- Perform clinical procedures within the scope of practice, including phlebotomy, ECG, nebulisation, wound dressing, vaccinations, injections, and medication administration as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies by providing Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and other emergency assistance when required.
- Prepare, maintain, and ensure the readiness of medical equipment, treatment areas, emergency supplies, medications, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control, patient confidentiality, and healthcare regulations.
- Provide patient education and support on treatment plans, medications, preventive healthcare, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with doctors and the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistance with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Experience in emergency care or occupational health is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant systems.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
