We are seeking an engaging and hands-on Chocolate Workshop Facilitator to lead chocolate-making workshops and guided experiences for visitors of all ages — including walk-in guests, school groups, corporate teams, and private bookings. The ideal candidate is confident speaking to groups, genuinely enjoys teaching, and can turn a simple activity into a memorable brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate hands-on chocolate-making workshops (e.g., moulding, tempering, decorating) for guests of varying ages and group sizes
- Deliver clear, engaging instructions and narrate the chocolate-making/brand story in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Set up and manage workshop stations, ingredients, tools, and materials before and after each session
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and safety protocols are followed throughout sessions
- Manage workshop bookings, group check-ins, and timing to keep sessions running smoothly
- Handle guest questions, troubleshoot on the spot, and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere
- Support inventory tracking for workshop supplies and flag restocking needs
- Assist with occasional promotional or brand events, photo/video content for social media, and school/corporate outreach
- Collect guest feedback and suggest improvements to workshop content and flow
Requirements
- Prior experience in F&B, hospitality, education, events, or customer-facing roles (chocolate/culinary background a plus, not required)
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups, including children
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken)
- Friendly, patient, and energetic personality with strong communication skills
- Able to work weekends/public holidays as workshops are often scheduled around peak visitor times
- Basic understanding of food hygiene practices
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
