Gading Kencana Sdn Bhd, an energy services company is expanding rapidly. As such, we invite you to join our team as a Finance Executive - Project Management with the Job Description as below;

Project Accounting

• Establish and maintain project cost codes.
• Monitor project costs, commitments and budgets.
• Prepare monthly project costs reports.
• Monitor Work-In-Progress.
• Review and compile billing documents for issuance of invoices.
• Review supplier invoices for payment process.
• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with MFRS 15.
• Prepare project profitability and margin analysis.
• Prepare / review project cash flow forecasts.
• Support project managers during monthly project review meetings.

Inventory Support

• Reconcile project material usage with procurement records.
• Monitor inventory issued to projects.
• Assist with project stock reconciliation and inventory counts.

Compliance and Reporting

• Support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare audit schedules related to project.
• Assist external auditors during annual audit.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Administrative Support

• Maintain finance records and document control.
• Coordinate finance correspondence with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Assist in improving finance processes and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

The Job Requirement for this position are as below;

• Minimum with Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent) is a great advantage.
• Minimum 4 years experience in accounting experience.
• Experienced in project accounting, project costing or revenue recognition is an advantage.
• Experience in ERP or Xero accounting system is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skill with stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and detail in work.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
