Job Description:

1. Site Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and quality of work.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site workers.

2. Project Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and monitor work schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
• Arrange manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment.
• Attend site meetings and technical discussions.

3. Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Inspect incoming materials.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
• Conduct inspections before consultant or client inspections.
• Rectify non-conformance issues.

4. Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.
• Conduct toolbox meetings.
• Monitor the use of PPE.
• Report and investigate safety incidents.

5. Technical Support

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Resolve technical issues on site.
• Prepare method statements and work procedures.
• Assist with design changes and Requests for Information (RFIs).

6. Documentation

• Prepare daily site reports.
• Record site progress.
• Prepare inspection requests (IRs), material submissions, and as-built records.
• Maintain site diaries and documentation.

7. Material & Equipment Control

• Monitor material deliveries.
• Verify material quantities.
• Ensure sufficient materials are available for scheduled work.
• Monitor equipment utilization.

8. Progress Monitoring

• Track actual progress against the project schedule.
• Identify delays and propose recovery plans.
• Report weekly and monthly progress to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in construction or M&E projects.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of site supervision, QA/QC, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to project sites.
• Experience in water or wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WWTP/STP) projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
