Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lecturer role based at Hospital University Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kampar. The Lecturer will design, deliver, and update lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in their area of expertise, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s academic and clinical objectives. Responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance, supervising projects or clinical placements, and providing student guidance and mentorship. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, participating in academic committees, and supporting educational quality assurance initiatives. Lecturers are also encouraged to engage in scholarly activities, such as clinical research, publication, and professional development relevant to their discipline.
Qualifications

• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master’s or Doctoral degree) in medicine, nursing, allied health, or a related health sciences field.
• Demonstrated teaching ability, including experience delivering lectures, facilitating tutorials, or supervising clinical training.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Experience in clinical practice or healthcare settings, with up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based approaches and current professional standards.
• Ability to design and evaluate assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support students’ academic and professional growth.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory educational practices in a multicultural environment.
• Organizational and time management skills to balance teaching, administrative duties, and scholarly or research activities.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and participate in departmental and institutional initiatives.
