What The Role Is
You are a key enabler for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Band's operations and training through the effective and efficient management of procurement and partnership, asset management, and data analysis.

You are a key enabler for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Band's operations and training through the effective and efficient management of procurement and partnership, asset management, and data analysis.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage the SAF Band's procurement requirements, including the translation of operational requirements into strategic supplier agreements
- Manage key suppliers and contracts
- Maintain operational oversight of the SAF Band's assets throughout their entire lifecycle
- Develop, implement and manage plans to future-proof the SAF Band's building infrastructure, facilities and equipment
- Develop robust data management practices to extract, analyse, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making on critical logistical areas
- Lead monthly meetings for logistics and finance matters
- Provide operational support for local and overseas deployments, and assume the role of Assistant Tour Director for all overseas deployments
- Serve as Staff Officer for logistics and finance capability development
Challenge(s) - Navigating between fulfilling the logistical and finance requirements of the SAF Band's niche and diverse operations, whilst ensuring strong governance and compliance
- Education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, with experience across procurement, contract management, vendor and partnership management, lifecycle management, and facilities management being preferred
- Strong contextual knowledge and experience with musical instruments and equipment, and military band operations is advantageous
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Highly organised with keen attention to detail
- Disciplined and systematic in work processes
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic operational environment
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
