Job Overview
We are seeking a Chargeman BO 11kV to join our Solar Operations & Maintenance team in Pontian, Johor. As the Site Person in Charge (PIC), you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of the plant's 11kV electrical systems while maintaining compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Operations & Maintenance
- Lead the operation and maintenance of 11kV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, inverters, and related equipment.
- Execute MV/LV switching activities, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance to maximise plant availability.
- Lead PTW and LOTO implementation while ensuring compliance with ST regulations and internal safety procedures.
Compliance & Site Management
- Coordinate with TNB, contractors, and regulatory authorities during maintenance, inspections, and outages.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, switching logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support fault investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
Key Requirements
- Registered Chargeman BO 11kV competency certificate.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chargeman BO 11kV, preferably within Solar PV, Power Generation, Utilities, or Renewable Energy.
- Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, PTW, LOTO, electrical safety, and statutory compliance.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy is an added advantage.
- GCPV certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
