Our client is engaged in trading of steel/agri products/ energy raw material. They have a requirement for an ACCOUNTANT.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

* Perform consolidation of accounts for multiple entities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

* Prepare financial projections, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analyses to support management decision-making.

* Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

* Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control and financial improvement.

* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

* Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal financial reporting requirements.

* Generate management reports and provide financial insights to senior management.

* Utilize SAP for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and other finance-related activities.

* Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

* Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

* 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including consolidation of accounts.

* Strong experience in preparing financial projections and budgets.

* Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO preferred).

* Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Job location : Raffles Place, Singapore
Work week : Mon-Fri
Salary : S$6k-7k pm (open for nego)
