Job Summary:

This role is to supports the retail operations team in ensuring smooth day-to-day store performance, operational compliance, and process execution across all concept store locations. This role focuses on store operational support, standards implementation, and cross-functional coordination while gaining hands-on exposure to retail management fundamentals and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Store Operations Support & Performance Monitoring

• Support the monitoring of daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash management, inventory controls, and staff scheduling.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess operational standards, cleanliness, merchandising compliance, and customer service quality.
• Assist in tracking store performance metrics such as sales targets, conversion rates, average transaction value, and foot traffic data.
• Compile store performance reports and highlight operational gaps or improvement areas for management review.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Compliance

• Support the implementation and communication of SOPs across all retail locations to ensure consistency in operations.
• Assist in updating operational manuals, checklists, and guidelines based on evolving business needs and feedback from stores.
• Conduct compliance checks on visual merchandising standards, product displays, safety protocols, and brand presentation.
• Coordinate with store teams to ensure adherence to company policies, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.

Store Launch & Refurbishment Coordination

• Support the operational setup of new store openings including equipment installation, fixture placement, and initial stock allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Design, Logistics, HR, and IT to ensure readiness before store launch.
• Assist in planning and executing store refurbishments, relocations, or layout changes with minimal disruption to operations.
• Prepare pre-opening checklists and ensure all operational requirements are met before handover to store teams.

Training & Store Team Support

• Assist in coordinating operational training sessions for store staff on new procedures, systems, or product knowledge.
• Provide operational guidance and troubleshooting support to store managers and frontline teams.
• Compile feedback from store teams on operational challenges and escalate issues to management for resolution.
• Support onboarding processes for new store managers and ensure they are equipped with necessary operational tools and knowledge.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with internal departments including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Service to support store-level execution of company initiatives.
• Coordinate the rollout of promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and product launches across all retail locations.
• Attend operational meetings and prepare summaries, action items, and follow-up documentation for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as a communication bridge between head office and store teams to ensure alignment on priorities and updates.

Operational Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and propose practical solutions to improve store productivity and customer experience.
• Track recurring operational challenges and compile data to support improvement initiatives or system enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ retail management experience, preferably multi-store.
• Background in lifestyle, premium, consumer electronics, or home appliance retail is an advantage.
• Willing to travel.
