This role is responsible for working with business units across Asia to analyse, design, develop, and support Oracle EBS R12 solutions that address business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, Head Office and external vendors, the incumbent will translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions, while driving process improvements, strengthening reporting accuracy and ensuring application stability.

Responsibilities

Business Requirement Management

• Work closely with business users in our business units in Asia to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specification documents.
• Review business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimisation, and process improvement.

Solution Design and Development

• Design and develop Oracle EBS R12 customisations, interfaces, reports, conversions and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and database objects.
• Build, enhance, and support Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, OAF and integrations, where applicable.
• Implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements, enterprise architecture and development standards.
• Perform code reviews and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Investigate defects, coordinate resolution activities, and work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to address issues.
• Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Production Support and Continuous Improvement

• Provide first-level application support for Oracle EBS, including incident investigation, issue resolution, and root cause analysis within agreed service levels.
• Coordinate with vendors and support teams to resolve production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Support system enhancements, regional initiatives, post-implementation reviews, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in an Information Technology related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 application support, business process analysis, and solution delivery.
• Strong understanding of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including experience with requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and change management
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Java / HTML programming, and Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting processes within the general insurance industry
• Experience in data warehouse development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborative effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, Head Office, and business units.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across the business units while maintaining a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset.
• High standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with sound judgement in handling business and system information.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $4,900.00 - $8,100.00 per month
