Design Engineer (LTA)

We are looking for a Design Engineer to support the planning, design and engineering coordination of major LTA infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and consultants to develop engineering solutions that comply with LTA and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering calculations, design reports and construction drawings.
• Assist in the development of civil and structural designs for LTA infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities on design submissions.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with LTA, BCA, PUB and relevant Singapore standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and temporary works designs.
• Support design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct design checks and engineering assessments throughout project execution.
• Assist with value engineering initiatives and constructability reviews.
• Liaise with site teams to resolve design-related issues during construction.
• Prepare technical documentation and support authority submissions.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a university recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant civil or structural design experience.
• Mandatory experience working on LTA projects in Singapore.
• Good understanding of LTA design requirements, Eurocodes and local engineering standards.
• Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD.Pro, PLAXIS or similar.
• Knowledge of BIM and Revit will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates who are on the pathway toward Professional Engineer registration will be highly preferred.
