Job Summary :

We are seeking a Cardiac Technologist to join our Cardiology team. The successful candidate will support cardiologists and the cardiac care team in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services, patient safety and compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist Cardiologists in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and during invasive cardiac procedures.
• Assist in angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, IVUS, IABP insertion and cardiac pacing procedures.
• Perform non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECG, Stress Test, Holter Monitoring, Stress ECHO, Echocardiography and Pulmonary Function Testing.
• Monitor and record haemodynamic data during procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, checked regularly and any malfunction is reported promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, infection control and safety standards within the department.
• Provide professional, caring and supportive patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements and cardiology standards.
• Prepare and submit monthly NCVD reports accurately and on time.

Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Imaging or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is an advantage or fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively with Cardiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
