Position: Quantity Surveyor (M&E) - Upto SGD 8,500 (Highly Negotiable)

Project Types: Commercial & Advanced Technology Industrial Project

Eligibility: Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Working Hours: 5-Day Work per Week (Monday–Friday)

Salary Package: Competitive Salary (Highly Negotiable) + AWS + Variable Bonus (upto 3 Months), OT Paid

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading Japanese A1 Main Contractor delivering a major Advanced Technology Construction Project in Singapore. Due to ongoing project expansion, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of Mechanical & Electrical works on a large-scale, technically complex development.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the commercial and contractual administration of Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender evaluations and subcontract documentation for M&E packages.
• Administer subcontracts, variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variation submissions.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with subcontractors and clients.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and M&E teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Support procurement activities for M&E subcontract packages.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company commercial procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Strong experience managing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commercial packages.
• Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience on industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre or advanced technology projects will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, subcontract management and final accounts.
• Good commercial awareness, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontract packages within a fast-paced project environment.
