About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant to support payroll solution design, integration, migration, testing, and implementation activities.

You will work across SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and S/4HANA RISE environments, collaborating closely with functional consultants, ABAP developers, CPI consultants, Basis teams, and client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP Payroll functional knowledge with hands-on technical understanding, particularly in SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP Payroll integration, BIB configuration, payroll interfaces, and ECC to S/4HANA transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) to SAP Payroll / S/4HANA Payroll integration, including BIB configuration and data replication.
• Provide techno-functional expertise across SAP Payroll, SAP ECC Payroll, S/4HANA Payroll, and S/4HANA RISE environments.
• Analyse existing ECC Payroll processes and support migration and transformation to S/4HANA.
• Participate in payroll solution design, integration design, and technical-functional impact assessments.
• Work closely with ABAP, SAP CPI, Basis, SuccessFactors, and functional teams to deliver payroll solutions.
• Prepare and review Functional Specifications (FS) for enhancements, interfaces, reports, conversions, forms, and workflows.
• Review integration flows and validate payroll-related data movement between systems.
• Support end-to-end payroll interfaces involving SAP CPI and related systems.
• Prepare test scenarios and scripts and execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution throughout testing and implementation.
• Document configuration, integration requirements, test results, and solution design decisions.
• Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering, solution design discussions, and issue resolution meetings.
• Provide guidance on payroll process alignment, integration dependencies, and technical-functional impacts.
• Support overall project delivery and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Travel to Singapore when required for business or project activities.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Payroll with techno-functional capabilities.
• Experience integrating SuccessFactors Employee Central with SAP Payroll / S/4HANA Payroll.
• Hands-on knowledge of BIB (Business Integration Builder) configuration and data replication.
• Experience with SAP ECC Payroll and S/4HANA Payroll / S/4HANA RISE environments.
• Understanding of ECC Payroll to S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA-compatible payroll solutions and payroll migration considerations.
• Experience working with SAP CPI, ABAP, and Basis teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
• Experience preparing Functional Specifications, test scripts, and testing documentation.
• Understanding of payroll interfaces, integration flows, data replication, and integration troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a client-facing and cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP Payroll integration projects.
• Experience supporting ECC to S/4HANA / S/4HANA RISE migration or transformation.
• Exposure to payroll interfaces, BIB mapping, data replication, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Singapore payroll environments.
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance on payroll solution design.
• Experience working with regional or multinational SAP implementation projects.
