Liaises with business stakeholders, end users, business analysts, project managers, and development teams to identify and document the required tests and test scenarios, ensuring that these cover all the business requirements. They perform, monitor, and report the test execution progress and the overall quality experience of the target test system.

• Design and execute test scenarios and test cases across SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity testing.
• Perform testing of backend and frontend systems, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business functionality and technical requirements as a Full Stack QA.
• Develop test cases and test scenarios based on the business requirements and conduct peer reviews on test coverage and test cases produced by the test team. They participate in walk through with respective business stakeholders as appropriate.
• Design and execute API tests to validate integration points, data flows, and error handling across systems
• Contribute to the testing plan including the agreed code drop schedule, execute test cases as per the agreed plan.
• Manage and track defects, support defect triage, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of defects, and track, control and resolve testing issues and queries.
• Provide test status updates and contribute to release readiness and quality sign-off.
• Highlight any risks or slippages to the test lead or manager and participate in defect triage meetings providing defect updates. 

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Software Testing.
• Experience in backend testing (such as databases, business logic, microservices). 
• Experience with frontend testing to ensure end-to-end coverage.
• Experience designing and executing API tests (using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar). 
• Exposure to integration testing of backend services. 
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM).

Preferred

•  Prior experience in the Life/General insurance industry or on insurance-related projects.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.

• AWS certification exam fees fully sponsored + training resources.
• Direct exposure to the regulated industries projects, such as FSI.
