Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe System Administrator / z/OS System Programmer to support and manage the organization's mainframe infrastructure and platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for administration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of:

• Mainframe CICS and MQ

• IBM zSeries / Mainframe hardware

• z/OS operating system

• IBM and third-party vendor system software

• Mainframe Storage Area Network (SAN)

• Attached disk storage systems

• Attached tape storage systems

Role & Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Host Platform technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap

• Manage Host Platform infrastructure initiatives and projects

• Design, install, configure, and deploy host infrastructure and solutions

• Provide Host Platform project support and Level 3 (L3) technical support

• Plan and manage Host Platform maintenance, upkeep, and change schedules

• Execute and deploy Host Platform upgrades, maintenance, and changes

• Manage technology risks and controls and provide audit support

• Perform RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) activities for the Host Platform

• Ensure platform availability, stability, security, and operational compliance

Required Skills

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Mainframe operating systems and administration, including:

• z/OS

• TSO

• JES2

• ISPF

• RACF

• JCL

• CICS

• MQ

• Mainframe hardware and system software

• Mainframe storage and tape technologies

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in Mainframe System Administration / z/OS

• Banking and financial services experience preferred

• Good understanding of infrastructure operations, production support, change management, risk, and controls

• Experience providing L3 support and working with multiple technology/vendor teams
