About This Opportunity

AIMS Data Centre is one of Malaysia's leading data centre operators, and this role sits at the core of keeping our facilities running 24/7. As a Data Centre Chargeman (A0/A1/A4), you'll oversee electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation operations at our Cyberjaya site, working closely with internal teams and vendors to keep critical systems reliable and compliant. This hands-on role suits a certified Chargeman who thrives in structured, high-stakes environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep electrical, M&E, and HVAC equipment in good working condition through scheduled checks, calibration, and inspections

  • Coordinate and supervise in-house/outsourced technicians and vendors for preventive & corrective maintenance

  • Manage Job Order ticketing — track, coordinate, and close requests, keeping stakeholders updated

  • Uphold safety standards for all staff and vendors during maintenance/repair work

  • Support day-to-day operations, incident updates, and documentation as needed

What We're Looking For

 Essential Requirements

  • SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years' data centre experience

  • Suruhanjaya Tenaga Chargeman certificate (A0, A1, or A4)

  • Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts

  • Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting knowledge (UPS, gensets, chillers, BMS/EMS, PLC systems)

  • Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint; AutoCAD a plus

  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, able to work independently under pressure; open to multi-site travel
