Responsibilities:

Store Planning & Design

• Create and design store interior, façade, and fixtures
• Adapting new concepts into new locations
• Research on trends and materials for retail design

Retail Store Design

• Handle various project design phases, from understanding mall plan, design proposal, coordination with contractors/project managers to project completion
• Produce concept design, space planning and presentation slides
• Assist in tender documentation and detailed drawings
• Ensure site compliance with design specifications and building regulations
• Work with Design Manager on building codes, by-laws, mall and site requirements
• Develop new strategies or solutions to achieve time quality and budget milestones
• Other related ad hoc duties as assigned
• To be meticulous in the checking of drawings in accordance to prior standards

Research & Design

• Research and propose of new layout, design and fixtures
• Research and propose of new materials
• Research of retail design trends and brands

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in interior design or a related industry
• Prior experience in retail interior design would be advantageous
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Enscape are essential
• Possess good understanding in space planning, conceptualizing, material, colour usage etc.
• Creative, meticulous, motivated with positive attitude
• Motivated, positive attitude and with an eye for detail
• A team player with keen eye in retail
• Well-organised, meticulous, initiative, solution-orientated Fun, vibrant, outgoing personalities with great personal style,
• Keen sense of fashion and a passion for the fashion industry
