Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in architecture, project management, construction, or a related industry, with a background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing proposals, and supporting the company's business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the architecture, project management, construction, and property sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, consultants, contractors, and business partners.
- Generate leads through networking, calls, emails, meetings, and industry events.
- Understand client requirements and present suitable company services and solutions.
- Follow up on leads, proposals, and quotations to secure new projects.
Sales & Commercial
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and other relevant documents.
- Negotiate project fees, terms, and commercial matters with clients.
- Understand project costing, budgets, pricing, and profit margins.
- Work closely with management and project teams to ensure proposals are commercially viable.
- Support management in achieving business development and revenue targets.
Business Growth
- Research market trends, competitors, and potential project opportunities.
- Develop and execute creative ideas for business development campaigns, promotional activities, events, and initiatives to generate new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Prepare regular business development updates and reports for management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Architecture, Project Management, Construction, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Finance, or a related position.
- Experience in architecture, project management, construction, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of project costing, pricing, budgeting, and profit margins.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
