Job Description:

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and hospital food safety standards.
• Supports the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and safe meals for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent contamination and spoilage.
• Dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with hospital policies.
• Communicate any shortages or inventory needs to the Head Chef.
• Assist in meal delivery when required.
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning of kitchen areas.
• Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of SPM or equivalent. Culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
