1) Ensure daily site operations comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant Malaysian regulations. 2) Conduct regular site inspections and hazard identification; implement corrective and preventive actions. 3) Monitor high-risk activities (e.g., lifting, work at height, scaffolding, confined spaces). 4) Assist in preparing and updating weekly reports, as well as safety documents such as HIRARC, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Emergency Response Plans. 5) Conduct site safety inductions and regular toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors. 6) Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend improvements. 7) Liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities (e.g., DOSH, CIDB) on safety-related matters. 8) Keep accurate records of safety reports, inspection findings, and training attendance. 9) Support the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in implementing the project’s overall HSE plan. 10) To perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
