Job Summary

The Sales Manager will drive business growth by managing customer relationships, developing sales pipelines, and achieving revenue targets within assigned market segments.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned market segments and key customer accounts to sustain and grow business relationships
• Develop and expand the sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to broaden the company’s customer base
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their business needs
• Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and proposals, and deliver technical sales presentations as needed
• Attend tender interviews and site visits to support business development efforts
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and effectively hand over project requirements to the Operations team
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure timely project delivery that meets customer expectations
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly in partnership with the Operations team
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management review

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence and own transportation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or building materials industries
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets with a strong sales drive
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills demonstrated in sales contexts
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Knowledge of floor coating products or an existing network within commercial and residential construction sectors
