Job Description

Eastrans Lines is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to manage customer inquiries and coordinate shipment operations for import, export, and local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily customer service operations for import, export, and local shipments
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, transporters, and internal teams
• Process shipping documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading, Delivery Orders, invoices)
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers
• Resolve shipment issues, delays, and discrepancies efficiently
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping / freight forwarding / logistics industry
• Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Preferred Skills (Optional but Good to Include)

• Experience with TradeNet submission
• Knowledge of local customs regulations
• Familiar with freight management systems
