Engineering Lead – Client Experience (CX) / Partner Experience (PX)

Division: Platform & Software Engineering Division

Role Type: Technical Leadership / Software Engineering

Experience: 5–7 years for augmented resources

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across customer-facing and partner-facing digital platforms. Depending on your expertise, you will lead either:

Client Experience (CX) initiatives focused on frontend, digital services and user experience, or

Partner Experience (PX) initiatives focused on backend services, APIs, integrations and enterprise platforms.

Engineering Lead – Client Experience (CX)

You will focus on:

• Frontend and full-stack architecture

• React or equivalent modern frontend frameworks

• Responsive, accessible and high-performance digital experiences

• API consumption and backend integration

• Authentication and secure integrations

• Cloud-native development, CI/CD and automated testing

• Performance, reliability, observability and production readiness

• Technical design, code reviews and engineering standards

• Mentoring and coaching engineers

• Collaboration with Product, UX, Security, Operations and Platform teams

Engineering Lead – Partner Experience (PX)

You will focus on:

• Backend and service architecture

• API design, API gateways and integration patterns

• Microservices and event-driven architecture

• Authentication & authorisation, including OAuth2/OIDC

• Partner and enterprise integrations

• Cloud-native development, containers and CI/CD

• Observability, reliability, incident management and operational support

• Data exchange, data mapping, interoperability and integration governance

• Partner onboarding, API documentation and integration readiness

• Security, compliance and technical risk assessment

• Mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of relevant software engineering experience

• Strong hands-on engineering background with technical leadership experience

• Experience designing scalable, secure and maintainable systems

• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and enterprise architecture
