Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to design, develop, implement, and optimize scalable database solutions that support business-critical applications. The role is responsible for ensuring database performance, reliability, security, and availability while developing efficient database structures, automation, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, data optimization, and cloud-based database technologies to support business operations and future growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in database administration, database engineering, or a related technical role.
• Certified in Oracle
• Basic understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL,MariaDB or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL scripting, database backup and recovery concepts, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
