Job Scope

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs to elicit business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements — user stories, use cases, BRDs, or FRDs as appropriate
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, and conflicting requirements early and resolve them proactively
• Map current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes using flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, or similar artefacts
• Analyse existing project workflows such as payment processing, order management, merchant onboarding, or reconciliation flows
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements backed by data or business rationale
• Produce wireframes and low-to-mid fidelity mockups to validate requirements with stakeholders before development begins
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure business logic is accurately reflected in the product design
• Define and document business rules, logic flows, and edge cases
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA throughout the Agile/Scrum delivery cycle
• Manage and refine the product backlog in JIRA
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support UAT by defining test scenarios and working with end users during testing

Requirement

• 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
• Demonstrable experience in at least one of: fintech (payments, digital wallets, lending, banking integrations) or e-commerce (marketplace platforms, order fulfilment, logistics, merchant systems), or other fields
• Experience covering the full BA lifecycle from discovery through to post-deployment review
• Proficient in creating process flow diagrams, wireframes, and functional specifications
• Hands-on experience with JIRA
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic SQL or data literacy is an advantage
• Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
• Structured thinker who documents well and follows through
