Job Description

  • Develop and implement IT strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and fostering growth.
  • Ensure IT operations meet performance, security and compliance standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively within the IT department.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance business capabilities.
  • Develop policies and procedures to improve IT service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices to safeguard organizational information assets
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls, risk management processes, and security compliance requirement
  • Champion cybersecurity awareness and drive the integration of security-by-design principles across business and technology initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Head Of IT Should Have

  • A strong background in IT strategy, infrastructure and operations management.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards in IT.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
