Role Description We are seeking an Accountant to support our Finance & Treasury Centre operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will gain exposure to full-set accounting, treasury reporting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, cash flow management and SAP-based financial operations.:

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and General Ledger (GL)
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements
• Prepare management reports and internal financial reporting
• Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
• Prepare withholding tax and other tax submissions
• Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Maintain accounting records in SAP ERP system
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting for management decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification, or currently pursuing a recognised qualification (e.g. CA Singapore, ICAEW, ACCA or CPA), would be an advantage
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant professional experience
• Prior experience in external audit with a Big Four accounting firm will be highly advantageous. Experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, financial institutions, or other professional services environments will also be considered favourably.
• Experience in SAP would be an advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
