Job Summary

Supports head bakers and kitchen teams with daily production tasks, ingredient preparation, and kitchen sanitation to ensure smooth bakery operations.

Responsibilities

• Weigh raw materials accurately to meet recipe specifications for bakery production
• Operate ovens safely and efficiently to bake products to quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas to comply with hygiene standards
• Assist in dough lamination, chocolate tempering, and preparation of various fillings such as pastry creams, ganaches, and mousselines
• Provide customer service as required by bakery operations
• Stand for long shifts and safely lift heavy items like flour bags to support production needs
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely production

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid local Food Hygiene Certificate or Food Handling Certificate

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in dough lamination, chocolate tempering, and making various pastry fillings such as creams, ganaches, and mousselines
