About Delta Spike
Delta Spike delivers Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services across Southeast Asia through our Concierge SecOps model. As part of our growing operations, we are looking for a Finance Executive (MY & SG) to support the financial operations of our Malaysia and Singapore entities.
The Finance Executive will primarily manage the day-to-day accounting and finance activities for Delta Spike Malaysia, while providing secondary support for Delta Spike Singapore. The role will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial operations across both entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & General Ledger
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping and General Ledger (GL) records for Delta Spike Malaysia, with secondary responsibility for Delta Spike Singapore, using Bileeta/ERP.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded, properly classified, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Perform regular reviews of ledger accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including supplier invoice processing, verification, payment preparation, and payment runs.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including customer invoicing, collection follow-ups, and monitoring of outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate AP and AR aging schedules and follow up on overdue items.
- Liaise with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve billing and payment-related matters.
3. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts, including MYR and foreign currency accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
- Monitor cash positions and provide timely updates to the Finance Manager on cash flow requirements and upcoming payments.
4. Management Reporting
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports.
- Support the preparation of consolidated group financial reports and related schedules.
- Assist with financial analysis, variance analysis, and other management reporting requirements.
5. Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Support timely and accurate statutory and tax compliance for the Malaysia and Singapore entities.
- Prepare and coordinate relevant filings and schedules relating to SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB for Malaysia.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate tax schedules and supporting documentation for Malaysia and Singapore entities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant authorities when required.
6. Audit, Process & Financial Support
- Assist the Finance Manager with internal and external audit preparation, including audit schedules, supporting documents, and information requests.
- Support the development, review, and maintenance of Finance SOPs and process documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and other finance-related assignments as required by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in AP, AR, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, and management reporting.
- Familiarity with Malaysia and Singapore accounting and statutory requirements is an advantage.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; knowledge of Bileeta is an advantage.
Skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
