ROLE OVERVIEW

The Assistant Manager – Data Strategy & Assurance is responsible for oversight of the execution of CTOS's data strategy by driving data acquisition & partnership initiatives, strengthening enterprise data governance, and coordinating cross-functional data programmes.

The role focuses on identifying and onboarding strategic data partners, ensuring data quality and governance standards, and supporting the delivery of new data initiatives that enhance CTOS's data assets, products, and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the incumbent will contribute to building a trusted, scalable, and commercially valuable data ecosystem for CTOS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships

• Oversee the execution of CTOS's data acquisition strategy across financial and other relevant data sources.
• Identify, engage and onboard new data contributors and strategic partners.
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities with internal & external stakeholders, including commercial discussions, contract signing, technical implementation, testing and production rollout.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulators, government agencies, financial institutions, fintechs and strategic partners.
• Conduct market research and identify new opportunities to expand CTOS's data ecosystem.

Data Governance & Data Quality

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of CTOS's Enterprise Data Governance Framework.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data governance policies, standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve data quality issues and drive corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor KPIs related to: Data acquisition/Contributor onboarding/Data quality/Data submission performance/Project implementation timelines
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and data governance.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Requirements/Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in data strategy, data partnerships, or data-driven business models
• Strong commercial acumen with track record in complex deal structuring and negotiations
• Experience working across data, technology, and regulatory environments
• Experience in credit bureau, financial services, fintech, or adjacent industries preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relating to credit reporting, data governance or financial services is preferred.
