Role Description: The Video Production Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur.


This role involves assisting with pre-production planning, including script breakdowns, shot lists, and basic storyboarding for corporate events, campaigns, and branded content. The intern will support on-set and on-location video shoots by handling equipment setup, camera and lighting assistance, and coordination with the production team.


Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, performing basic video editing, adding simple motion graphics or subtitles, and helping maintain quality standards for deliverables. The intern will also contribute to content ideas, collaborate closely with the creative and event teams, and assist with administrative production tasks such as scheduling, file management, and documentation.


Qualifications


  • Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Production Management for organizing shoots and coordinating project timelines.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for collaborating with creative, event, and technical teams and presenting ideas clearly.
  • Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to review footage, ensure visual and audio consistency, and support adherence to brand and technical standards.
  • Candidates should possess Training-related skills, including the ability to learn quickly, follow production guidelines, and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Basic knowledge of video production tools (cameras, lighting, audio equipment) and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar) is beneficial.
  • Relevant academic background in film, multimedia, communications, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced event and media environment are preferred.
