Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records and assist the Finance team with payments, collections and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, claims and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Prepare payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, bank transfer schedules and accounting schedules.
- Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before payment.
- Monitor customer collections and outstanding balances.
- Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support audit schedules, tax documentation and other finance requirements.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on payment matters.
- Ensure accurate data entry and coding in the accounting system.
- Support the Senior Accountant with other finance-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- AutoCount Accounting experience is preferred.
- Trading company or F&B industry experience is an advantage.
- Good numerical, organisational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
