Required Experience
- Experience as an Automation Engineer, RPA Developer, Workflow Developer, Power Platform Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience building automation workflows or digital process solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Blue Prism, UiPath or similar workflow automation tools.
- Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python.
- Ability to translate business process documentation into technical automation solutions.
- Experience designing workflow logic, business rules, exception handling, and operational controls.
- Strong understanding of testing, deployment, defect resolution, and production support.
- Ability to work across Business and IT teams.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Ability to operate in a structured, governed, and regulated environment.
Preferred Experience
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience automating processes in wealth management, portfolio financing, AML, compliance operations, KYC, reporting, reconciliation, or back-office banking operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Experience with business process/workflow tools or BPM platforms.
- Experience with API integration, data extraction, document handling, reporting automation, or intelligent document processing.
- Understanding of banking security, data privacy, auditability, access control, credential management, and change governance.
- Experience working within internal technology delivery models and enterprise IT standards.
Key Responsibilities.
- Work with Process Analysts, business users, and IT teams to understand documented processes and automation requirements.
- Assess automation feasibility based on process complexity, system touchpoints, data inputs, rules, exceptions, controls, and business value.
- Design, build, test, and deploy automation workflows using available bank-approved tools.
- Create workflows using Microsoft Power Automate/Blue Prism/UiPath and other existing business process or workflow platforms.
- Write scripts or programs, including Python, where appropriate to support automation, integration, data processing, reporting, or workflow enablement.
- Support automation use cases across wealth processes, portfolio financing, AML, and related banking operations.
- Convert process documentation into technical automation designs.
- Build automation components that are maintainable, reusable, secure, and aligned with the bank’s technology standards.
- Develop workflow logic, business rules, exception handling, notifications, logging, audit trails, and operational controls.
- Integrate automation workflows with relevant banking applications, internal systems, spreadsheets, document repositories, email, databases, APIs, or other approved platforms where applicable.
- Prepare technical design documents, workflow specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, deployment notes, and support handover materials.
- Support testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and production readiness checks.
- Work within the bank’s existing internal working model, tools, IT governance, security standards, and change management processes.
- Collaborate with business, IT, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure automation solutions are fit for use in a regulated banking environment.
- Support delivery within the targeted 6-month program timeline.
Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,500.00 per month
