Location: Singapore. Candidates based in Singapore are strongly preferred because the completed physical drawings will need to be collected or delivered locally.

Project Overview

Codingo Assignments Pte Ltd is urgently looking for a reliable freelancer who is confident with hand drawing, technical sketching, or engineering drawing to assist with an immediate client project.

The project consists of 8 engineering diagrams that must be reproduced by hand on individual A4 sheets of paper. The digital reference diagrams will be provided to the successful candidate. You will not be expected to design the engineering diagrams from scratch. The primary task is to carefully reproduce the supplied reference drawings by hand while maintaining the structure, proportions, labels, lines, dimensions, symbols, and overall appearance of the originals.

This is a physical hand-drawing task. The final work cannot simply be recreated using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, or another digital drawing program and submitted digitally. The finished drawings must genuinely be drawn on A4 paper and must be neat enough to be included as supporting engineering diagrams in a report.

Urgency and Deadline

This is an urgent project requiring an immediate start. All 8 completed drawings must be ready no later than 21 August 2026, although completion before this date would be strongly preferred.

Please apply only if you currently have sufficient availability to begin immediately and can confidently complete the entire set within the required timeframe. Reliability is extremely important for this project, and we are specifically looking for somebody who can commit to the deadline once the work is accepted.

What You Will Be Doing

You will receive digital PDF reference drawings showing exactly what needs to be reproduced. Your responsibility will be to study each provided reference and accurately redraw it by hand on clean A4 paper. Appropriate drawing equipment such as pencils, technical pens, rulers, set squares, compasses, protractors, erasers, and other drafting equipment may be used where required.

The drawings should be clean, organised, legible, and reasonably accurate in proportion. Lines should be straight where required, curves should be properly formed, and labels or annotations appearing in the reference should be clearly reproduced. The completed work should look like competent engineering or technical hand drafting rather than a rough freehand sketch.

Suitable Candidates

This project would be particularly suitable for someone studying or experienced in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, product design, technical drafting, engineering drawing, or another discipline involving manual technical drawings.

Polytechnic and university engineering students with strong engineering drawing skills are welcome to apply. Professional drafters and individuals with experience producing technical drawings by hand are also encouraged to apply.

Formal professional experience is not essential if you can demonstrate that you are capable of producing neat and accurate technical drawings.

Important Requirement

Before being selected, applicants should be prepared to provide photographs or examples of previous hand-drawn technical, engineering, architectural, mechanical, or similar drawings. This is simply so that we can quickly verify that your drawing standard is appropriate for the project.

Because of the urgent deadline, preference will be given to candidates who respond quickly, can show relevant examples immediately, and are able to begin work as soon as the reference documents are provided.

Physical Handover

The final deliverables consist of the original physical A4 drawings. Once the project is completed and checked, arrangements can be made for collection or local courier delivery within Singapore. Applicants should therefore ideally be physically located in Singapore for the duration of the project.

Payment

This is a paid one-off freelance project. Payment will be based on the complete agreed scope and will be confirmed with the selected freelancer before commencement. Applicants may indicate their expected project fee when applying.

There may also be opportunities for additional freelance technical drawing, engineering, drafting, and related project work with Codingo Assignments Pte Ltd if the quality of work and turnaround for this project are satisfactory.
