Role Description The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing financial models, and providing analytical insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The manager will monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and prepare regular management reports and dashboards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, validating financial data, improving reporting accuracy, and recommending actions to optimize profitability and cost efficiency. The role also involves supporting annual and long-term planning cycles, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and contributing to continuous improvement in financial processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Finance skills, with experience in corporate FP&A or related finance roles.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Financial Modeling, including building and maintaining models to evaluate scenarios and business performance.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Budgeting & Forecasting, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and BI tools; strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and present financial information clearly.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries is beneficial, along with a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to ethical financial practices.
