Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based at Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park in Kuala Lumpur. The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to drive room revenue, events, and corporate business, while strengthening relationships with key accounts and partners. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales calls and client meetings, preparing proposals and contracts, and managing the sales pipeline to meet targets. The role also involves collaborating with revenue management and marketing teams, analyzing market trends and competitor activity, and representing the hotel at industry events and familiarization trips. The Sales Manager will ensure that all sales activities reflect the hotel’s brand standards and deliver a high level of service to clients.


Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, account management, and negotiation.
  • Experience with hospitality or tourism sales, preferably in hotels or related accommodations.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, and use data to support pricing and sales decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging corporate clients, travel partners, and event organizers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet revenue targets, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and basic digital tools used in sales and marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to regional markets are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and local market dynamics is beneficial.
