Role Description

The Graphic Designer / Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for creating high-quality visual content across Top 30 Media's award platforms, publications, events, social media channels, and associated brands.

The role combines graphic design, photography, videography, and content production, working closely with the editorial, marketing, events, and management teams to translate ideas into compelling visual stories.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing social media content, event artwork, award campaign materials, presentation decks, digital advertisements, publication assets, and other brand collateral. The role will also be responsible for shooting and editing video content for events, interviews, social media, campaigns, and editorial features.

The Graphic Designer / Videographer will play an important role in maintaining and evolving the visual identity of Top 30 Media and its various platforms while ensuring all creative output is consistent, engaging, contemporary, and aligned with each brand's positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative assets for social media, digital campaigns, events, awards, publications, presentations, websites, and marketing materials.
• Develop event-related artwork including invitations, posters, stage visuals, LED screen content, backdrops, signage, certificates, and promotional materials.
• Create visual content for Top 30 Media's different brands and platforms while maintaining their respective brand identities.
• Shoot and produce video content including interviews, event highlights, behind-the-scenes content, social media videos, and promotional campaigns.
• Edit short-form content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
• Produce longer-form videos including event recaps, interviews, brand videos, and campaign content when required.
• Capture photography and video during Top 30 Media events, launches, award ceremonies, interviews, and other activations.
• Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to develop visual concepts that strengthen storytelling and audience engagement.
• Assist in developing creative concepts, mood boards, storyboards, and campaign directions.
• Organise and maintain the company's photo, video, design, and digital asset library.
• Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, production teams, printers, and creative suppliers when required.
• Ensure creative deliverables are completed according to campaign and event timelines.
• Stay updated on design, social media, video, and digital content trends and introduce fresh creative ideas across Top 30 Media's platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Graphic Design, Videography, Photography, and Video Editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar creative platforms is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, branding, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to shoot high-quality video using professional cameras, smartphones, lighting, microphones, and basic production equipment.
• Strong understanding of short-form social media content, particularly Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Experience creating content for events, hospitality, lifestyle, media, fashion, entertainment, or corporate brands is an advantage.
• Ability to translate creative briefs and ideas into polished visual executions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency across multiple brands.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple creative projects simultaneously.
• Willing and able to work on-site during events, including occasional evenings and weekends when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across editorial, marketing, events, and management teams.
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Film, Broadcasting, Creative Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating graphic design and video work is required.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
