About the role

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your day-to-day activities will include using standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement configuration strategies that enhance application performance and reliability
• Support and guide team members in resolving complex technical challenges related to packaged and software as a service applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of solutions with business objectives
• Analyze system issues proactively and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools to elevate the quality of application support and delivery
• Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with the team to perform effectively
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams

About you

• Advanced proficiency in SAP Basis required
• Advanced proficiency in SAP Basis Administration suggested
