Internship Job Scope: Data Entry

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Support

• Assist in daily data entry of financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., invoices, receipts, payments).
• Help with maintaining and organizing financial records and documentation.
• Support in preparing bank reconciliation and petty cash reports.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Assist in processing supplier invoices and staff claims.
• Help monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments.
• Prepare simple payment vouchers and receipts under supervision.

3. Financial Reporting Assistance

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and schedules.
• Support in checking accuracy of trial balance and ledger postings.
• Perform simple variance analysis on expenses and income.

4. Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparing supporting documents for audit and tax purposes.
• Help ensure filing and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with policies.
• Learn and support basic understanding of accounting standards and procedures.

5. Administrative & General Support

• Handle filing, scanning, and updating of accounting records.
• Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Participate in meetings, training, and other learning opportunities.

REQUIREMENT:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, bookkeeping).
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.
• Willing to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial data.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM300.00 - RM500.00 per month
