Site Supervision and Coordination
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of construction activities according to project schedules and deadlines
- Monitor workmanship to verify alignment with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Liaise effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to coordinate site activities
- Allocate tasks to site workers and monitor their performance to maintain productivity and quality
- Lead and participate in site coordination meetings to resolve issues and align project goals
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce safety policies and procedures on site to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure all workers comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations
- Identify, report, and rectify hazards or unsafe practices promptly to prevent accidents
Resource and Material Management
- Check and verify delivery of materials to ensure accuracy and quality
- Oversee proper use of equipment and implement measures to minimize material wastage
- Maintain accurate records of material stock, manpower, and equipment usage for effective resource management
Quality Control
- Inspect and approve construction works at various stages to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical discrepancies or defects to uphold project integrity
- Ensure all works comply with building codes and regulatory standards
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly site progress reports to track project status
- Maintain comprehensive site diaries, inspection checklists, and incident records for documentation accuracy
- Support the project manager in preparing and submitting required documentation to authorities
