We are looking for a technical visionary who is equally fluent in internet culture and blockchain infrastructure—someone who knows why a meme goes viral and how to scale the rails that carry it. If you can quote lines from The Wire, understand why a rare Magic: The Gathering card holds value, and architect a scalable microservices architecture, we need to talk.

The Role:

As our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be the architect of our entire digital universe. You will partner with the founding team to translate our creative vision into a technical roadmap. This is a high-impact role where you will own the tech stack from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Strategy: Define the architecture for a complex platform integrating e-commerce, interactive social features, a creator economy (tokens/rewards), and a digital marketplace for assets.

• Web3 Integration: Lead the development of smart contracts, NFT infrastructure, and wallet integration. You will bridge the gap between traditional web experiences and decentralized ownership.

• Product Development: Oversee the entire SDLC, translating entertainment IP and cultural moments into technical sprints.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a world-class team of Ops, Frontend, Backend, and Fullstack Developers. Establish best practices for code quality, security, and deployment.

• The "Culture" Factor: Ensure the tech feels native to the entertainment industry—it must be fast, intuitive, and "cool." You will help design features that encourage social virality and community interaction.

Who You Are:

• The Engineer: 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership (CTO, VP Eng, or Lead Architect) capacity.

• The Web3 Native: Deep understanding of blockchain technology (Ethereum/Solana/Polygon), smart contract security, and decentralized storage.

• The Platform Builder: You have experience building complex platforms that handle high traffic, payment gateways (Stripe/crypto), and user-generated content (UGC).

• The Geek: You have a genuine pulse on popular culture. You understand the psychology of a gamer, the loyalty of a movie fan, and the motivation of a creator. You know what makes a community tick.

• The Manager: Proven experience running a distributed team of developers. You know how to manage sprints, code reviews, and conflict resolution.

• Equity Package: Competitive ESOP (Employee Stock Option Plan) and related share options, structured to reward long-term commitment and significant impact. You'll be a true stakeholder in the company's success.

• Pay Flexibility: We understand that every founder's journey is different. Compensation can be structured in one of the following ways:

• Fractional Engagement: Part-time commitment with pro-rated equity, ideal for candidates currently running other ventures.

• Milestone-Based: Compensation tied to the achievement of specific technical deliverables (e.g., MVP Completion, Mainnet Launch, First 100,000 Users), allowing you to earn based on tangible results.

• Hybrid: A combination of the above, tailored to your situation.

• Vesting: Standard vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff, ensuring alignment with our shared vision and long-term growth. Accelerated vesting provisions may be available upon change of control or other key triggers.
