We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Youth Worker for Student Management to support students through intervention, behavioural guidance, and social-emotional development programmes in a school environment. The ideal candidate possesses a Diploma in Social Work or a related field, at least 1 year of student management experience in Singapore, and strong interpersonal, collaboration, and case management skills. This 2-month contract role requires a student-centric professional who can provide individual and group support, implement preventive and intervention strategies, maintain confidential records, and work closely with school staff and external agencies to promote positive student outcomes.
Duration: 24 Aug 2026 to 31 Oct 2026
Working Hours
• 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, excluding 1-hour lunch break)
• No work on weekends and gazette public holidays
• Occasional after-hours support may be required for emergencies
Responsibilities
• Conduct individual and group intervention sessions for students.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with disciplinary concerns.
• Maintain confidential case records and documentation.
• Design and deliver social-emotional learning and early intervention programmes.
• Collaborate with school staff and external agencies to support students.
• Provide crisis intervention, guidance, and transition support.
• Monitor programme effectiveness and prepare reports.
Requirements
• Diploma in Social Work or related field (or higher).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant student management/ youth intervention experience in Singapore.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
• Student-centric, resilient, and proficient in basic digital tools
