Location: Kuala Lumpur / Penang

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee property development and construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate should have strong construction knowledge and understand the commercial and operational practices of main contractors.

• Lead and manage project planning, construction progress, quality, cost and timelines.

• Coordinate closely with consultants, local authorities, main contractors and subcontractors.

• Monitor project costing, tender pricing, BQ, variation orders and contractor claims.

• Identify and resolve technical, site and contractual issues.

• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet approved drawings, specifications and requirements.

• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to Management.

• Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in construction/project management.

• Strong understanding of main contractor operations, construction costing, claims, variations and contract administration.

• Good knowledge of property development and building construction.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work effectively with consultants, authorities and contractors.

• Willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur / Penang and travel to project sites when required.
