Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain solutions based on distributed architecture, integrating internal and external servers and applications.
• Develop APIs, web services and backend interfaces to support self-service call flows.
• Implement appropriate integration patterns and API authentication mechanisms.
• Develop and integrate solutions with Oracle Database and other backend systems.
• Prepare and execute system test cases and perform unit testing for assigned development tasks.
• Deliver development tasks within agreed timelines with proper unit testing results.
• Work with multiple teams to test, troubleshoot and resolve integration-level issues and defects.
• Participate in implementation activities, technical discussions and communications involving third-party applications and non-core requirements.
• Maintain proper source-code documentation, comments and development best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development, testing and implementation.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of production or integration issues when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Java/J2EE platform.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle Database.
• Experience with distributed architecture and integration with internal/external servers and applications.
• Understanding of integration patterns.
• Understanding of API authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with backend systems, web services and APIs for developing interfaces and self-service call flows.
• Working knowledge of Git/source code repositories; experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred.
• Good understanding of unit testing and system testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and third-party applications.
• Good documentation practices, including source-code comments and development best practices.
• Ability to learn new technologies and requirements quickly.
